Getting started
Sign in, switch companies, and find your way around the Admin Portal.
This page covers the basics that apply everywhere in the Admin Portal: signing in, moving between companies, the navigation menu, and how the list and detail screens work.
Signing in
- Go to your company's Admin Portal URL.
- Sign in with your Bitmosys credentials.
- If your account has access to more than one company, choose the company you want to work in from the company switcher at the top of the page β it lists each company by name. Your selection is remembered, and is restored the next time you open the portal.

The navigation menu
The left-hand sidebar lists the areas of the portal, grouped under headings. At the very bottom of the sidebar you'll also find Help & guides (this documentation). You can collapse the sidebar to icons using the menu button at the top to give yourself more room.
Switching app areas
At the bottom of the sidebar is an app-area switcher β a row of squares that change which sections the menu shows, so you only see what's relevant to the task in hand. The areas are:
- Staffing β Dashboard, Bookings, Shift Planner, Timesheets, Expenses, Invoicing, Adjustments, Clients, Client Users, Employees, Sub-Contractors, Availability, Leave Requests, Product & Service, Documents.
- HR β Employees, Sub-Contractors, Availability, Leave Requests, Staff Documents.
- Compliance β Compliances, Staff Compliances, Documents, Staff Documents.
- Learning and Development β Learning and Development.
- Settings β Billing, Settings.
Picking an area takes you to its home page and remembers your choice. Following a link to a section in another area switches the area for you automatically.

How the list screens work
Most areas (Bookings, Timesheets, Clients, and so on) open as a list with a table of records and a command bar above it. They all behave the same way β keyword search, column filters, choosing and reordering columns, selecting rows, and CSV export/import. See Working with lists for the full set of shared controls.
Next steps
- Working with lists β the controls every list shares.
- Bookings β create and manage bookings, the core of your day-to-day work.
- Return to the Admin Portal overview.
