Messages
Customise your notification templates, check what's been sent, and set your sending details.
Bitmosys sends your workers, clients and admins automated notifications β a booking assignment, a timesheet rejection, an invoice, and so on. The Messages area lets you tailor the wording, watch what actually went out, and set who mail comes from.
Open Settings from the sidebar (under the System group, in the Settings area) and choose Messages. It expands into three views: Templates, Delivery log, and Sending settings.

Templates
Every automated message has a template you can edit, per delivery channel. Templates are grouped by the entity that triggers them (booking, timesheet, invoice, leave request, and so on). Use the Find a template⦠box to jump to one, then select it.
For the chosen message you'll see:
- Channel tabs β Email, SMS and/or Push (only the channels that message supports). Each channel has its own on/off switch.
- Subject (or Title for push; SMS has none) and a Body.
- A merge-variable panel listing the variables you can drop into the text (for example the worker's name or the shift time), each with a sample value β click one to insert it.
- A Customized / Default badge showing whether you've overridden the seeded default.
Edit the text and click Save changes. To go back to the platform wording, use Reset to default. SMS templates show a segment count so you can keep messages short.
Delivery log
The Delivery log is a record of every automated notification the system has tried to send. Each row shows the message, the recipient and their address, the channel, and the delivery status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | Queued, not yet sent. |
| Sent | Delivered to the provider. |
| Failed | The send didn't go through. |
| Skipped | The channel was off or had nothing to send. |
Search and filter the log by status, code, channel and date. Click a row to open its detail, including the exact subject and body that were sent. For a failed message you can:
- Resend with current details β re-send using the recipient's current address and the latest template.
- Redeliver original β send the original message exactly as first composed.
To clear a backlog at once, use Resend all failed (N) at the top of the log.

Sending settings
The Sending settings view controls how your mail is addressed:
- Greeting β turn on a greeting line (for example "Hi {first name},") and choose the wording.
- Reply-to email β send replies to your own address instead of the platform default. Enter the address, then confirm ownership with the one-time code Bitmosys emails you (Resend code if it doesn't arrive). Until it's verified, the platform default stays in use.
- Cc / Bcc β set default Cc and Bcc recipients for the messages you send manually (such as invoices). Separate multiple addresses with a comma.
Manual sends β for example emailing an invoice from the Invoicing module β open a dialog pre-filled from the template where you can adjust the recipient, subject, body and Cc/Bcc before sending.
